TheWorstGenerALAN Frank is a super devoted and hardworking person. his music is honest and hits home, he is totally deserving of your support. I don't think it's all to weird of me to support an album I helped work on to communicate that. Disagree with me. HaHa, What's it matter? Favorite track: Dehydrated.

In preparation for touring and playing many more shows I had CDs made. They aren't cased in a conventional sense, but wrapped in plastic and sandwiched between printed cardstock. As low-cost, low-impact, and eco-friendly as I could make them. Professionally printed and burned, so likely a lot nicer than the home-brewed ones I was putting out before.

about

After meeting in the folk-punk subreddit and swapping a few comments/opinions, the next logical step was for Frankly Lost and The Worst Generation to make a split EP together. With the power of the Internet, the tunes were recorded from 1,001 miles apart and paired-up to bring the streets of Philadelphia, PA and Columbia, MO together for 8 tracks of DIY goodness.

If you download this EP please be sure to rotate the album artwork 180 degrees every day to be sure that the plants on one side of the little world don't shrivel up and die.

about

Frankly Lost Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Frankly Lost is a solo acoustic project that was born out of loss, curiosity, and a sense of adventure. Following in the traditions of American Folk music, the works of Frankly Lost are musically and lyrically simple, charged with emotions, and inspired by more punk-y acts such as Erik Petersen and Frank Turner whilst chronicling the intrigues of the artist's daily life and wide-wandering travels. ... more

Track Name: Frankly Lost - Dehydrated
I know that I'm dehydrated
And I know that I'm depressed
I know that I'm dejected, aimless,
Hungry, self-obsessed and useless
Stupid, drunk and hard to love, incapable of more,
But what I need to know is what's it for?

What's it for? What's it for?
Please tell me, what's the point?
Why inspect a bathroom corner,
If it's a seamless joint?
Why look in the mirror?
Why apply resolve?
If what looks back is a puzzle you can't solve?

What if all I'm proud of
Is getting out of bed?
I won't make it to a job, if I can't leave my head and find a
A fucking goal, a shooting star, a port along the shore,
what I need to know is what's it for?

What's it for? What's it for?
Please tell me, what's the point?
Why inspect a corner?
If it's a seamless joint?
Why look in the mirror?
Why apply resolve?
If what looks back is a puzzle you can't solve?

What's it for? What's it for?
Please tell me, what's the point?
Why inspect a corner,
If it's a seamless joint?
Why look in the mirror?
Why apply resolve?
If what looks back is a puzzle you can't solve?
Fucking give me something I can solve.
Track Name: Frankly Lost - St. Church's Basement
We all have a process,
For getting through the pain
I found out in a backyard
In the middle of playing your song,
I let them pour my bourbon down the drain

You were Saint Church's Basement
A spray-painted case
The Martyr, of Phil-tha-delphia
I'll see you in hell

Songs of dirty pennies,
Of punks and robber-cops,
I fell in love with mermaids
And I fell in love with you
With mischief, ramblers and boycotts

You were Saint Church's Basement
A spray-painted case
The Martyr, of Phil-tha-delphia
I'll see you in hell

[ Solo ]

You were Saint Church's Basement
A spray-painted case
The Martyr, of Phil-tha-delphia
I'll see you in hell

You were Saint Church's Basement
A spray-painted case
The Martyr, of Phil-tha-delphia
I'll see you in hell
Track Name: Frankly Lost - Lord of Roads
Ride my eyes
Ride my wheels
Ride the inside of my skull again as I stumble to the bar
Ride the wire
Ride the rails
Ride the wall a drunken bastard slide

Make my self your steed and ride to battle
Share my head and tell me what to call
Be a blackened rider
Be the lord of roads,
I'll cut myself and I may bleed but I will never fall
-
And the rider in my head will see it all.

Brew a paper voodoo in the morning
A cure for all your ails inside the stall
Top your tank up buddy,
You're gonna need it all,
Stick your thumb out walk along the rooad

Waoh, make my self your steed and ride to battle
Share my head and tell me what to call
Be a blackened rider
Now be the lord of roads,
I'll cut myself and I may bleed but I will never fall
-
And the rider in my head will see it all.
Track Name: Frankly Lost - Mr. Exposed Entrepreneur
I'm eating up street lights again
As drunk as I've ever been since a week ago
If my friends all knew, where I'd been going
Alone well then they'd be there too.

I got this from mugging a hobo
I told him I needed it more and he did under
-stand as we traded, I gave him 10 dollars.
He gave me a place I could stand

Knowing how I sound makes
It hard for me to sing
And knowing who you are makes it hard for me to talk to you
But knowing that doesn't make it sting

Any less

A battle fought every morning
Is not to start drinking at noon, or eleven,
Just keep sipping coffee, pretend things are fine,
If nobody asks, it's alright.

I'd like to stop being lonely,
I think that the world's made for two.
But all I can do, is drink a personality
And still never ta-alk to you.

Knowing how I sound makes
It hard for me to sing
And knowing who you are makes it hard for me to talk to you
But knowing that doesn't make it sting

Any less
